Removing duplicate images from your gallery

Occasionally if you have trouble uploading images to your site you may find that you end up with duplicate images in your galleries. Here's a simple method to help you clear the unwanted copies.

1. Use the gallery function to Sort By: Filename or Title. This should line the duplicated images up side by side for you.
2. You can then select the check-box for one copy of each of the duplicated images.

3. You can then use the "Delete Images" option from the Actions drop box at the top of your gallery to remove the unwanted copies.
