How do I fix an upload time-out error

Occasionally you may encounter a time-out error when attempting to upload large batches of images.

The symptoms of this will be that your upload begins and you initially see the horizontal upload status bar.. However the process later fails with the message:
"Image uploader encountered some problem. If you see this message, contact web master"

?name=LocalNetwork_error-1.png

We believe this error is most often caused by a local networking issues.
To get back on track with your uploads, try restarting your local modem / router and then run a smaller upload of test images to one of your galleries.

Of course if this does not resolve the issue for you please get in touch with us via the support Help Desk - http://helpdesk.photomerchant.net/home

That's fine - but how do I add in the missing images?

Hi Trevor,

you will need to upload any missing images via a second upload batch.

If you're concerned about uploading duplicate copies of some images then this FAQ may help you check and filter out any duplicates from your galleries - http://helpdesk.photomerchant.net/entries/20211571

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Steve.
